Here’s my work. I do 3d art and game design. I hope you like what you see.

What am I up to now?

Currently working on a VR game, Snapstick, through My Dog Zorro Studios with none other than Brett Taylor (Playdead Studios, Linelight)! It’s just us two working hard, and I’m focused on narrative and game design. We are coming out with a Meta Oculus game, now with funding from Meta, that will challenge you with puzzles and make you laugh.

Another year coming up of the Game Developer’s Conference in San Francisco! This will be my fourth year, ready to be involved in the community, connect with old faces, and continue to work on Snapstick.

Bringing my Unity skills to work by starting a few new projects in both 2D and 3D. You like point and click adventures? Stay tuned!

Off the Clock

Initial game built-in Unreal Engine 5. Here I learned vital skills I would carry on such as game starts, restarts, ammo, countdowns, physics, lighting, and asset building. Collision and camera work came into play to help me get my knowledge started in first-person shooters and ball/bullet physics.

Star Chaser

A much more ambitious project in Unreal Engine 5 - after my knowledge with Off the Clock I used ball physics to make an entire maze game. Now with pick-ups, sound effects, levels, game start areas, death, and full controls I’ve gained the knowledge to create a full pinball game.

Where did I start?

I started as an animator, mainly working with stop motion and video editing. As a visual artist, I learned a lot of useful skills that transferred to video games - sculpting, animation, timing, motion, framing… the list goes on. Coming from a tangible medium to a digital one allows me to experiment, make mistakes, and try new and challenging tasks without the pressure of wasting valuable resources or materials. I still love working tangibly and wouldn’t take my beginnings back for anything.

Here is a stop motion film I helped create with the wonderful minds of Bob and Bradley; now both off doing great stop motion work at Amazon, Disney, and beyond. We even got the voice of Daffy Duck to do our characters. I hope you enjoy it!
